Before Evil Dead was created Director, Sam Raimi created a 30+ minute Evil Dead "Rough Draft" that was never released. Investors liked his work so much that they invested around $ 150,000 for the creation of the full length Evil Dead movie. Since Within The Woods was not a full movie it was never released. All that was recovered was this low quality VHS copies version. Still Evil Dead fans deserve to see this. Enjoy!
I thought it was pretty good - although the quality had some sever issues - I would LOVE to see a higher quality version - if anyone knows where to find that let me know!

Young couple are talked into to getting married on a Haitian plantation by a Mister Beaumont. Beaumont's plan is to convince the beautiful young girl to run away with him. He turns her to a witch Dr. (Bela Lugosi) who wants her for his zombie horde.
In classic fassion the boyfriend save the day & true love wins out. I you like this grenere you will enjoy this movie. Nothing ground breaking for sure but a classic none the less.

I liked it & found the cast pretty funny in a tragic film noir kinda way, it probally wouldn't work too well if it were a longer movies - this one was short & sweet.

A Zombie short – clocking in at 14 min – Shot to look like a 1950’s Department of Defense film – Great watch for any Zombie fan, It is actually 3 seperate shorts orginally. It was great fun to watch! It was campy & funny & a great twist on a classic idea.

Ok .. I finally broke down & started my own blog!
I have found so many great movies for free online I decided to start a blogg to review them. I mostly watch Horror or some Sci-fi or Anima so that is what you can expcet to see here. Please chime in on my movie selections and let me know what you think of the movies I put on here.
